Native of New Jersey, born to Cuban-Spaniard parents. Spent 15 years living abroad, traveling Latin American Countries. Majored in the Education of Foreign Languages. In 2008, while studying in the University of Havana, he worked under chef Julio Rodriguez of Restaurant Los Nardos in Havana. He work side by side Chef Rodriguez for 7 years becoming after 4 years his sous chef and side by side winning several National Culinary awards. Decision to travel back to USA was made in June 2015. Once he arrived in the Miami, started working at several restaurants to acquire experience in American cuisine.
In November of 2015, he started working for one of Crystal Springs restaurants “Kites” at Minerals Spa and Resort under Chef Corey Hepburn. Within months, Chef Miranda advanced within the restaurant to become the Junior Sous Chef until December 2016. In December of 2016 he took on a new challenge to become the Lead Line Cook at Smoke Rise Village Inn under Chef Christopher Tate and in April of 2017 he became the Sous Chef there taking on many responsibilities with a great ability to showcase his skills including the participation at Taste of Spring. In October of that same year, Chef Miranda became the Executive Chef after the Departure of Chef Tate. Since then implementing a new style of American Cuisine at the restaurant where now a fusion of American and International cuisine is implemented.
