Jesa Henneberry is the visionary Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Maize Cocina & Cocktails, where she brings her passion for modern Mexican cuisine to life in a beautifully restored historic train station. A Midwest native turned tri-state culinary force, Jesa has spent the past 14 years as a sought-after private chef and consulting expert in New York City’s dynamic restaurant scene.

Before launching Maize, she played a pivotal role as the creative consulting chef behind NYC’s acclaimed plant-based Mexican restaurant Jajaja, recognized by Thrillist and Eater as one of the top vegan restaurants in the country. She has also spearheaded concept launches for Heritage Grand in Bryant Park and multiple Urbanspace Food Halls, in addition to contributing her expertise to Le Pain Quotidien’s global expansion. A Food Network Chopped champion, Jesa is known for her ability to craft bold, inventive, yet approachable dishes that elevate the dining experience.
