Chef Roberto Carnero is the culinary force behind Warique, a modern Peruvian restaurant in Belleville, New Jersey. Born in Bellavisita Callao, Peru and raised in Belleville, Chef Roberto is dedicated to sharing the vibrant flavors and traditions of Peruvian cuisine, here in New Jersey. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute and working alongside some of the best chefs in NY and NJ for 23 years, Chef Roberto brings his talents and deep respect for Peru’s rich gastronomic heritage to every dish he creates. He focuses on fresh, authentic ingredients and highlights Peru’s rich cultural influences while bringing a modern touch to traditional recipes.
