Matías Ciciani completed his secondary education of viticulture learning at Don Bosco School, a prestigious institution where his grandfather graduated as a Winemaker and from whom he inherited his passion for this profession. He earned his degree in Winemaking from Juan Agustín Maza University, marking the beginning of his career journey. After a decade working in important Argentine wineries and a stay in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, Matías joined the Escorihuela Gascón winemaking team in 2014. In 2018, he was promoted to the role of Manager of Vineyards & Winemaking, overseeing both owned and third-party vineyards, as well as the winery. Along with his leadership of the oenology and vineyard team, Matías continues to strengthen their commitment to sustainability and the organic management of the vineyards, positioning Escorihuela Gascón as a standard for Argentine wine.
