Tancredi Biondi Santi was born in Siena on the 23rd of July 1991. He is part of the seventh generation of the historic Biondi Santi family, known for founding Brunello di Montalcino, one of Italy’s most internationally renowned wines.

Raised in a wine-making tradition of excellence, Tancredi studied viticulture and enology at the University of Florence, combining academic training with work in the family business from a young age; he is now fully involved at Castello di Montepò, in Maremma, a property that was founded by Jacopo Biondi Santi, his father.

Tancredi is passionate about winemaking and managing the foreign markets developing the family and estate brands. He is following his family traditions to manage in the future the family estate, Castello di Montepò.
